An interesting incident

During the reign of Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq, a person came traveling from the country of Syria. And came to your service and began to submit that you are also Ameer (who is wealthy) and (also the head of Muslims).
“Hazooer, I’m in debt, please assist me,” he started to beg. So you took him to your house. The person said that the door was very beautiful from the outside, but there was not even a single bed in the house.

Don’t tell me something weird, remarked Sayyidna Sadiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him), as he placed me down on one of the palm bark mats. But now that things are not going well for me, what should I do? the individual said.
I had come hoping from a long way.

So they said, go to Usman Ghani.
The person said, “I need a lot of money.” He said, “Your thinking ends where Usman Ghani’s generosity begins.” You go to them.

You can say, I have been sent by Amirul Momineen, the individual stated, “Take your name.” Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq said That won’t be required.
Just to say that I am a debtor and a servant of the Prophet (peace be upon him). The man stated that he would need a reference and a proof. He said: Uthman does not ask for proof or a reference when giving charity.

That person says that I went and asked and knock on the door. Hazrat Usman Ghani voice was coming from inside, “He was scolding his children that you always drink honey mixed with milk. Minimize some of your spending. “Use one item, you are a bit unwell, the cost has climbed so much, milk is delicious, honey is also sweet.”

The person says, I said, Abu Bakr was telling big things, here there is a fight over milk and honey, and I want several thousand dinars, will he give it? The person says that I was just thinking when I am heard the door opening from inside.

He came out and I said Aslam Alaikum!
They answered the greeting and they understood that I am a Muslim and addressed me and said, “I’m sorry, I had to explain something to the children. I was a little late in coming. When the door opened, they made me sit at home, and the first thing they brought me was milk. His first phrase demonstrated his magnificence with honey and then they served date halwa.

The person says that the idea came to my mind that there is a strange person, they were quarreling with the family, use one thing, three things have come to me, but my imagination was not fixed yet, I thought in my heart that it is not as strong as Abu Bakr Sadiq (may Allah be pleased with him) said.

That person said that after feeding him, Hazrat Usman Ghani asked how you came.
I said, “I am a Muslim and I am a resident of a village in the country of Syria and because of some business difficulties I have become indebted and I need money because I owe money.

He made a sound when he stated, “I requested for some money,” and a slave riding a camel carrying goods soon materialised. This person said that I wanted three thousand Ashrafis.

I did not tell you. Hazrat Uthman Ghani (RA) said, “On this camel, I have put clothes, food and drinks and 6000 ashrafis for you and your family on this camel, and you was came on foot, now with take the camel.

The person said, I immediately said to Hazrat Usman Ghani, who will come to return this camel to you?
“Where did I go looking for, and then I arrived at Madinah, and when I arrived in Madinah, Allah handed me a basket full of water,” the speaker claims. Excuse me, I was thinking that there is a fight in the house over milk and honey.

Then Hazrat Uthman (RA) said that the money that Allah gave to Uthman was not given because only the children of Uthman enjoying themselves, but my master has blessed me so that I may serve as the household staff of Muhammad Arabi (PBUH).

The third Caliph Hazrat Uthman Ghani (RA) was born in Banu Umayyah, a branch of Quraysh. The lineage goes back to the Messenger of Allah on Abdul Manaf. The maternal grandmother of Hazrat Uthman Zul-Nurain was the paternal grandmother of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). You (peace be upon him) are the fourth among the first people to accept Islam. You fear God
And he was a rich man. You used to spend your wealth generously in the way of Allah. That is why the Holy Prophet (PBUH) gave him the title of Ghani.

Your name is Uthman and your nickname is “Zul-Nureen”. You are called Zul-Nureen because two daughters of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) were married to you. This is the only honor that no one else can get. You are counted among the Ten Messengers, that is, the ten Companions to whom our beloved Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, gave the good news of Paradise during his blessed life. He made two migrations in the path of Islam. One towards Abyssinia and the other towards Medina.
We pray to Allah Almighty to grant us all the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of the Companions.

Ameen

Hazrat Uthman Ghani (RA) participated in all the battles along with the Prophet (PBUH). Although many other Companions also received this honor, but his unique honor is that he stayed in Madinah due to the illness of his wife during the Battle of Badr on the orders of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

In the Pledge of Allegiance, the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) declared one of his hands as the hand of Hazrat Uthman Ghani (R.A.) and pledged allegiance on his behalf.
When he saw people suffering from water scarcity in Madinah, he bought a beer rumah and dedicated it to the Muslims.

On the occasion of “Jaish Asrat” (Battle of Tabuk), he gave 300 camels along with equipment and 1,000 gold dinars in charity for the cause of Islam, upon which the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

After today, if Uthman does not do any other (good) deed, then there is no harm to him.

CONCLUSION:

Several studies each year emphasise the advantages of charity for both our physical and emotional wellbeing. Giving helps people live longer and has been demonstrated to lower stress, promote physical health, raise feeling of purpose, and naturally combat depression.

On the one hand, being generous is a disposition, a moral or spiritual outlook that tends to make us want to take care of other people. On the other side, generosity is also an act and a way of life in which people give their time, money, or other resources to help others.

Nevertheless, a research discovered that being kind really lowers blood pressure as much as medication and exercise. The issue extends beyond blood pressure. Also, generosity lowers the incidence of dementia, eases anxiety and despair, enhances the treatment of chronic pain, and more.

It is well known that charitable deeds, like giving without expecting anything in return, are good for our health. On a personal level, generous individuals are more content, calm, and joyful. Also, they have greater success in work and at home.

According to a 2003 University of Michigan study, among the benefits of giving include an improvement in one’s mental and physical health.

Since it alters the giver’s perspective of the world and of themselves, generosity transforms the recipient’s life. It improves the world, strengthens connections, and makes people happy.

A world without human kindness would quickly overheat and cease to function, much like an internal combustion engine without lubricating oil. Similar to trust and reciprocity, generosity serves as a vital lubricant for the well functioning of human social and institutional ties required for human flourishing.
